Ellyssar was the Princess of Tyre (a city and civilization located in South of Lebanon). Her brother, King Pygmalion of Tyre, murdered her husband the high priest. Ellyssar escaped the tyranny of her own country and founded Carthage (in Tunisia now) and subsequently its later dominions.

Queen Ellyssar was known of here love and passion to knowledge and nature, she was as much as leader of state but also a symbol of beauty and glamour.
