In addition, Beauty Industry Professionals are required to submit proof of their professional credentials before receiving our products. We feel very strongly that any company that is truly concerned with consumer safety must insist on these two requirements. The lash extension procedure requires the use of a lash extension adhesive, adhesive remover, fine point tweezers and a synthetic eyelash (among other items). In some cases, Lash Extension Adhesives, and Adhesive Removers can be a skin, eye and mucous membrane irritant. There are no known Adhesives or Adhesive Removers that are 100% safe for contact with the surface of the eye. Such foreign substances whether “Medical Grade”, “U.S.P” or “U.S. Pharmaceutical Grade- Class IV”, must be flushed out immediately with a copious amount of water if contact is made in the eye area and medical attention sought immediately. This is why an eye irrigation solution is required in all Lavish Lashes kits that are sold to the Professional. Additionally we require Lavish Lashes Professionals to advise their clients that contact lenses must be removed prior to the procedure, so as to not obstruct the irrigation process if needed.
